We bought this Cat Tree 3 years ago. It is still holding up to the daily wear and tear of our 4 cats. They all love the top 3 perches & will take turns napping on them. The smaller 2 cats (both under 10 pounds) will hide & sleep in the Condos, but the uppermost Condo is too cramped for our larger 2 cats. The larger 2 cats (both over 13 pounds) don't seem to care for the lower Condo either, although it is of ample size to accommodate them. There are 2 sets of "steps" but my cats use them more for scratching on than for climbing. The 10 connecting posts are all covered with natural Sisal rope & all 4 cats love to scratch on all of the posts - both the higher ones, as well as the lower ones. Overall, this has been a very good investment for our cat's exercise & enjoyment.
